मुनिवर व्यास ने अठारह पुराण नौ व्याकरण और चार वेंदों का मन्थन करके रचना की महाभारत की | फिर महाभारत रुपी समुद्र-का मंथन करने से प्रकट हुई गीता | और गीता का मन्थन करके भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने उसके अर्थ का सार अर्जुन के मन में डाल दिया | इस अर्जुन का मन मेरा भी है, तुम्हारा भी है-और इस सृष्टि में सभी का हो सकता है यदि हम इसके भाव को अपने जीवन में धारण कर सकें
श्री कृष्ण की यह दिव्य वाणी सागर मंथन से प्राप्त हुआ अमृत है | इस अमृत की एक बूंद इस दुरूह जीवन का कल्याण कर सकती है| विश्व कल्याण की बात, देश कल्याण की बात, समाज कल्याण की बात और उस उस बात को स्थापित करने के लिए बहुत सी बहसों की भी आवश्यकता न पड़े, यदि मानव में गीता का ज्ञान प्रकाशित हो जाये
सब अपने -अपने स्वधर्म - कर्म को समझ कर लोकहित में रक्त हो जाये | लोकहित का भाव मन में होगा तो अपना कल्याण स्वयम हो जाएगा | लोकहित का नियम समाज के कर्ण धारों से चलकर आम व्यक्ति तक पहुंचे तो दूसरे के कर्मो की दुहाई देने की बात कहाँ रह जाएगी
इस दुरूह बन रहे जीवन की हर जटिल समस्या का समाधान छिपा है गीता में
